Open call for abstracts: Sharing knowledge

Submission deadline: May 10 2012

We call for abstracts for poster presentations and/or knowledge sharing seminars focusing on what can be learned from your work in:

  • Ethics and regulations
  • Sample/biospecimen collection & storage
  • Sample/biospecimen analysis
  • Data analysis

We invite researchers, scientists, networks, industry and health care providers to share knowledge during the conference. We offer poster presentations and/or 20 minute presentations in three parallel sessions.

ABSTRACTS ON SAMPLE ANALYSIS AND DATA ANALYSIS WELCOME UNTIL MAY 20!

We have a few openings posters and/or oral presentations on sample analysis and data analysis. We welcome your contributions (in these categories only) until May 20. Please use our abstract form and send it via e-mail to info@bbmri.se

Instructions

  • Use the abstract form provided and follow instructions provided.
  • Please make the abstract as informative as possible, including brief background, the methods/approach of the study, the results obtained and the conclusions based upon the results with a special emphasis on lessons learned. It is inadequate to state "the results will be discussed" or "the data will be presented".
  • Please use the following headings: 
    > Background
    > Methods/approach
    > Conclusion
    > Results
  • Abstracts should be submitted electronically no later than May 10 2012.
  • Abstracts must be submitted via e-mail to info@bbmri.se
  • Acknowledgement of receipt of your submission will be sent to the e-mail you stated address under section “Corresponding details”. If you do not receive an e-mail within 24 hours, your submission was not completed and needs to be re-submitted.
  • Notification on acceptance/rejection of the abstract will be e-mailed to you.
  • The corresponding author will receive all correspondence concerning the abstract and is responsible for informing the other authors of the status of the abstract.
  • One of the following topics that best describes the abstract should be indicated upon submission:
    > Ethics and regulations
    > Sample/biospecimen collection & storage
    > Sample/biospecimen analysis
    > Data analysis
  • Abstracts must be written in English.
  • Maximum 2000 characters (including spaces and excluding title and contact information on authors).
  • It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct abstract; any errors in spelling, grammar, or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author, if accepted.
